Description

Start your adventure in Corralejo, where you will collect your specially equipped e-bike and receive the map and information for your self-guided route of approximately 30 km. The bike features a spacious rear rack, allowing you to comfortably carry your personal belongings, beach towel, water, snacks and everything you may need for your day. Follow the route at your own pace through the spectacular volcanic landscapes of northern Fuerteventura. Ride towards the unique Popcorn Beach and continue to the quiet coastal village of Majanicho, discovering the island’s rugged coastline and volcanic scenery along the way. From Majanicho, continue towards the local winery, where you will enjoy a tasting of 3 local wines accompanied by 3 characteristic tapas. An expert will introduce you to the wines, explain their origins and share interesting details about the local wine-making tradition. After the tasting, continue your e-bike adventure towards Calderón Hondo, one of the most impressive volcanoes in northern Fuerteventura. Here, we recommend leaving your e-bike and enjoying a special trekking experience around the volcano. Walk through the fascinating volcanic landscape, discover the crater and admire panoramic views over the surrounding area. Finally, follow the route back to Corralejo, completing an unforgettable experience that combines e-bike exploration, volcanic landscapes, local wine, gastronomy and hiking. With your self-guided map and specially equipped e-bike, you have the freedom to discover Fuerteventura at your own pace. • This is a self-guided e-bike experience. No guide will accompany you during the cycling route. Basic cycling skills and a reasonable level of fitness are required, as the experience includes approximately 30 km of cycling and a trekking section at Calderón Hondo. The route may include uneven and unpaved sections. Please follow the route provided and ride according to your abilities and the weather conditions. The trekking at Calderón Hondo is recommended but optional. Please arrive at the meeting point at the agreed time to collect your e-bike and receive the route information. Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged, as you will use it to follow the self-guided GPS route. Technical assistance from Dune E-Bike is available during the experience in case of technical issues.
