This beginner surfing course in Fuerteventura suits first-timers and those returning to surfing who want to learn foundational techniques.

Description

The lesson takes place the day after booking. After your reservation is confirmed, the surf school contacts you to set the schedule for the next day.

The course focuses on teaching surfing basics through a combination of theory, warm-up exercises, water practice, and final stretching. You will practice on waves breaking over sandy beaches or easy reef breaks, allowing a safe progression from riding foam waves to catching small green waves.

Each session lasts 4 hours, including transport to the best surf spot of the day and return to the center. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 students per instructor according to Canary Islands regulations.

Scheduling is confirmed daily between 20:00 and 21:00 the day before the lesson to ensure optimal conditions based on weather forecasts.

• Lesson times are flexible, depending on wind, tide, spot, and wave type.
• Time confirmation is sent the evening before between 20:00 and 21:00 to ensure accurate weather-based scheduling.
• Office hours are 10:00–14:00 and 17:00–21:00; bookings made after 21:00 will be scheduled two days later.
