Description

Begin at an Aloe Vera farm to learn about one of Fuerteventura’s well-known products and its uses in wellness. Next, visit the Nuestra Señora de la Regla church in Pajara, noted for its unique Aztec-style façade. The village was once ranked the sixth most beautiful in Spain according to locals. Then travel to Ajuy, a small fishing village on the west coast, to explore black-sand beaches and sea caves carved into chalk cliffs.

Continue to Betancuria, with a photo stop at Las Peñitas viewpoint overlooking mountains and the ocean. In Betancuria, step into the church of Santa María, the oldest church in the Canary Islands, consecrated in 1424. Alternatively, visit the archaeological museum featuring regional exhibitions.

Lunch is served at a family-run restaurant in Valle de Santa Ines with dishes made from local ingredients. The day ends at a goat farm where you can sample local cheeses, jams, and honey rum liqueur, a regional specialty.
