This beginner-friendly Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) course takes place in Morro Jable, ideal for those new to SUP looking for small-group instruction.

Description
Participants join a trial SUP course designed for beginners. Small groups of up to four students allow personalized attention and adaptation to each participant’s progress and preferences.
The meeting point is the surf school office in Morro Jable, where you receive your SUP equipment including:
- Ocean & Earth Stand-Up Paddle board with a lightweight epoxy core and soft foam cover
- Height-adjustable paddle
- Billabong wetsuit
The beach is just 150 meters from the office. There, the instructor provides a brief introduction to currents and wind conditions in the bay, followed by safety instructions for the equipment.
After a warm-up, the instructor demonstrates basic paddling and standing techniques. Once in the water, the instructor offers support to improve your stance, paddling technique, and steering skills.
Confident students may take a short tour along the white dunes of Morro Jable towards the Jandia lighthouse.
For more advanced SUP surfers, additional courses are available focusing on wave riding and downwind safaris.
