Description
We'll pick you up at the arrival pier of your cruise and then we'll set off to discover the most beautiful and emblematic places in the north of Fuerteventura.
We'll head towards Corralejo, taking the scenic road through the Natural Park, then stop to admire the famous Sand Dunes and enjoy the wonderful view of the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote.
We'll head back to El Cotillo, passing through the small but lively village of Lajares, skirting agave fields and volcanoes.
We'll stop at the Tostón Lighthouse, where the view is lost in the ocean. You can admire its strength on one side and the crystal clear natural pools on the other. We'll continue towards Castillo del Tostón, where we'll take a short walk to admire the coastline with its cliffs and the beautiful beach, often beaten by spectacular waves, known as Piedra Playa.
Here we'll have time for a short coffee/souvenir/toilet break (with a lovely view of the small marina)
We'll head back to the Villaverde Mills, where you can admire the Arena Volcano and enjoy the view of the island's rural hinterland, before making our last stop in the small but charming church square of La Oliva.
From here, we'll head back to Puerto del Rosario, taking the scenic road through the mountains. You'll get to see the Sacred Mountain of Tindaya, the monument to Miguel de Unamuno, the rural areas of La Matilla, Tetir, La Asomada, and Los Estancos with its technology park and the old Fuerteventura airport terminal.
The descent to Puerto del Rosario will give you a beautiful view from above of the city and your cruise ship resting in the port.
ORGANIZATION:
During the transfers, I'll tell you a bit about the history of Fuerteventura, the places we'll stop at, and those we'll see in passing.
During the stops, I'll take some beautiful, fun, and spontaneous photos of you, without too many boring poses. You can enjoy the scenery and get a taste of Fuerteventura's famous 'quiet life.'
And if you want to take some photos with your smartphone to send to your friends right away, no problem, I'll help you with that too.
The excursion will take place in a 9-seater air-conditioned van, but the group will be composed of a maximum of 6 people, to give everyone the deserved attention and to do things calmly and in absolute relaxation.
MEETING TIME 9:30 am just outside the cruise pier police checkpoint.
We'll be waiting for you with a colorful pinwheel to help you recognize us.
